FPL Augur is an independent tool for Fantasy Premier League decisions. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to the Premier League or Fantasy Premier League. Player, fixture and price data come from the public FPL API.
You can browse forecasts, players and prices without signing in. We do not set tracking cookies or use advertising services. Your browser keeps your interface preferences (language, theme, density, assistant language) and, if you enter one, your FPL team ID; they never leave your device except the language, which the site reads to show pages in it.
Like any website, our hosting provider processes your IP address to deliver pages and to protect the service against abuse, including per-address request limits.
Signing in uses Google. From your Google account we receive and store your name, email address and profile picture. We also store:
When you sync your FPL team, we fetch its public squad, transfers and history from the FPL API and store them to analyse your team.
Your question, the conversation so far (up to 15 messages) and the forecast and squad data needed to answer are sent to Anthropic (Claude), or to Groq if Anthropic is unavailable, to generate the reply. Your name, email and payment details are never sent. We do not store your questions or the answers, and neither provider uses them to train models.
The app and its database run on our own server at Contabo in Germany; requests reach it through Cloudflare. We do not sell your data. It goes only to the providers below, each for the stated purpose.
| Provider | Data | Where | Purpose |
|---|---|---|---|
| Contabo | All account data (server and database) | EU (Germany) | Hosting |
| Cloudflare | Requests and IP addresses | Global network | Delivery, encryption and attack protection |
| Name, email, picture | Global | Sign-in | |
| Anthropic | Questions and the data needed to answer | USA | Assistant replies |
| Groq | The same, when the main model fails | USA | Backup assistant model |
| Dodo Payments | Email, payment and billing country | Global | Payments and tax, as merchant of record (an independent controller) |
| PostHog | Usage events under an internal ID, without IP | EU (Frankfurt) | Product statistics, without cookies |
| Sentry | Technical errors, without IP or question text | EU | Stability |
Anthropic and Groq process data in the United States. We rely on their data processing terms, which include the standard contractual clauses and the UK addendum.
Account data: until you delete the account. Records of questions (without their text): 24 months. Purchase records: 6 years, as tax rules require. Server logs hold no IP addresses or emails and are overwritten automatically (at most 30 MB per service); an IP address used to limit guest requests is deleted within 2 days. Cloudflare keeps request logs under its own terms.
We set only the cookies the service needs: the sign-in session and the interface language. There are no analytics or advertising cookies, so there is no cookie banner.
You can ask for access to your data, a copy, correction or deletion, and object to product statistics (Settings has a switch that turns them off). In the UK you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO); in the EU, to your local data protection authority.
A contact address for deletion requests and questions will be published here shortly. Deleting an account removes its sessions, linked Google account, FPL team ID, saved squad plans, strategy, flags, choice history, chosen league and rivals. Records of questions and purchases are kept without the link to you, as described above.
